Knights of St. Andrew – El Paso Valley

A Distinguished Brotherhood within the Scottish Rite

The Knights of St. Andrew is an honorary service organization composed exclusively of 32° Scottish Rite Masons from the El Paso Valley. Membership is limited to thirty-two members and is extended by invitation only, recognizing those who demonstrate dedication and a spirit of service.

Members are easily identified by their traditional Glengarry headwear adorned with colorful hackles, symbolizing their commitment to the  Valley and its traditions. While their presence may not always be  visible during Reunions, their contributions are vital—working behind  the scenes to set up, prepare meals, assist with stage operations, and  ensure the smooth execution of events.

The mission of the Knights of St. Andrew is twofold:

  • To mentor and engage new Scottish Rite Masons
  • To preserve and support the vitality of the Temple

Their efforts help maintain the beauty and functionality of the  Temple, ensuring it remains a place of tradition, excellence, and  brotherhood. For new members of the El Paso Scottish Rite, the Knights  offer a path to deeper involvement and meaningful service. Those who  show interest and dedication may one day receive The Invite—a call to join something greater.
